Student Gmail is now up and running!  A few notes (your child is aware of these points):

  • Always email BOTH teachers (;
  • Think before you SEND or REPLY… Is it about LEARNING?  Is it NECESSARY?  Is it WRITTEN PROFESSIONALLY (proper format, capitals, punctuation, and spelling)?
  • Notifications (sound off)

Fall Party

A big thank you to Aaron’s mom, Cori, for heading up the Fall Party!  Thank you as well to those who donated supplies and/or were able to come in and help out and enjoy the party!

PBL:  Eco-Friendly EPiC

PBL Driving Question:  How can we, as third grade ecologists, connect with our EPiC school community to inspire an eco-friendly school?

Goal:  I can identify producers and consumers and can sequence the flow of energy through a food chain.


Goal:  I can put words into alphabetical order.


Goal:  I can solve one-step addition and multiplication number stories, recognizing when to use addition and when to use multiplication.

We finished “The Big One-Oh” by Dean Pitchford and started, “Wonder” by R.J. Palacio.

Homework will come home on Monday, Nov. 2nd and will be due Thursday, Nov. 5th, as there is no school Friday.
