This Week’s Blog Post to Provide Comment

Please provide comments to the posts tagged, “missinglink.”  It most likely has the date of Nov. 12 as the date posted.  Some of them might have something about a block tower.

 This Week’s Focus Points

  1.  Title:  Writing a “catchy title” to grab the reader’s attention while using correct capitalization.  Many students are still wanting to make their title a sentence vs. a short phrase.
  2. Paragraph Structure:  For each paragraph, having a main idea, supporting details as well as a closing.
  3. Capitals, Punctuation, Spelling:  We spent a lot of time this past week having students work on revising and editing their post with a partner before publishing.  We made an “Editing Train” in class where partners worked together to try and help one another.

Students also analyzed posts and pulled out ideas they would like to try in their own posts.
