Housekeeping Information

  1. Water bottles are more than welcome at school each day, especially as the hot weather continues.  Thank you!
  2. Homework will start next Monday.
  3. Wish List:  Spare headphones, Colored Pencils (we really just need the red, green, and yellow pencils)

Instruction and Learning

PBL (Project Based Learning):  Global Water Crisis

  • We went on a water walk simulation then did a video reflection and blog post to share the learning experience.


ELA (English Language Arts)  

Goal #1:  I can write a paragraph with a main idea, details, and a closing.

Learning #1:  Students created a Book Creator book to help educate others (a class in California in particular) about, “The Global Water Crisis.”  Students will revise and edit their book this coming week then will post the book to their blog.

Goal #1:  I can round a two-digit number to the nearest tens place.

Goal #2:  I can round a three-digit number to the nearest tens place.
