If your child would like to stay in the classroom after they give their family a tour, please feel free to do so while you travel to other classrooms. They may be able to give a tour or two to other families that are visiting our classroom.
*Come at any time between 4-7pm. The tour will take about 10-15 minutes.
*IMPORTANT: During Showcase Night, Dawn or Kellie will hand you a form, specific to your child, that explains the process for being able to set up an account to view their grades online if you wish to do so. If you have questions after looking over it when you get home, please feel free to contact the office or email us. If you are unable to attend Showcase Night, you will need to come in to the office to pick up the form for your child. They must be hand delivered due to sensitive login information specific to your child. We will give more details in next week’s blog post.
Instruction and Learning
PBL: Mr. Magera – Ghana, Africa
We spent 3 days studying hurricanes (weather standards) with the question of, “What happens when there is too much water?” On day 3, students used the design process to build both a structure that would NOT, and would, survive a category 3 hurricane winds.
Computer Science: Coding using Algorithms

for Showcase Night
We started our 5th book of the year! We project the book so that as we read, students are able to follow along.
