- Dec. 16th Winter Party: 2-2:30pm
IMPORTANT: Parents, we are looking for 6 parents to donate 25 items for goodie bags for the winter party. Items like candy canes, Christmas candy or small trinkets would be perfect. Please email Jody Magera at email@example.com if this is something you’d be willing to do and send the items in to Studio 3 by Wed., Dec 14.
- Dec. 21st Narrative Writing Premiere: 2:00-2:30pm *We will have a sign-out sheet if you would like to take your child home at 2:30. There will be no attendance docked (think as if it were the end of a school party). You will be able to grab siblings as well.

ELA: Idioms, Smilies, and Metaphors
Students are working to use their knowledge of these types of figurative language within their own writing to help readers better visualize, understand, and enjoy their writing.
Students can explain: a fractions is a part (parts must be equal) of a whole + the meaning of the numerator and denominator + fractions in the form of a circle, bar, or line.
We began equivalent fractions on Friday, Dec. 9th and will continue with them into next week.
